Spanish vultures snacking in Holland

The crazy European regulation making it illegal to leave carcasses in the high mountains has led to reports of starving vultures attacking and killing large live stock in several parts of Spain. Now one of Nick‘s wolfmen has sent news of several hundred griffon vultures from the Pyrenees having sought alimentary asylum in Holland, in what is probably the most frightening incursion from these parts since the Duke of Alba and Julio Iglesias. It is always said that they will never attack humans, but if you’re walking at 2,000+ you’ll have a bunch following you sooner or later, and since you can’t shoot them there’s little reason for them to be scared. In a spirit of scientific enquiry, I vote we chain a succulent little baby to rocky peak and see how long it lasts.
