Hill-top meadows with a long history of human settlement and some classy C18th farms (<a href=\"#pic\" onClick=\"document.main_photo.src='\/img\/walks\/valles-oriental\/tagamanent\/agusti.jpg';\">1<\/a>, <a href=\"#pic\" onClick=\"document.main_photo.src='\/img\/walks\/valles-oriental\/tagamanent\/agusti1.jpg';\">2<\/a>, <a href=\"#pic\" onClick=\"document.main_photo.src='\/img\/walks\/valles-oriental\/tagamanent\/agusti2.jpg';\">3<\/a>). Climb to defunct village on huge rock (<a href=\"#pic\" onClick=\"document.main_photo.src='\/img\/walks\/valles-oriental\/tagamanent\/tagamanent_poble.jpg';\">1<\/a>, <a href=\"#pic\" onClick=\"document.main_photo.src='\/img\/walks\/valles-oriental\/tagamanent\/sant_marti.jpg';\">2<\/a>) still with C12th church (revolutionarily deconstructed 1936, rebuilt 1986) but currently without castle. Excellent views over Vic\/Osona plain to Pyrenees, Collserola range that masks Barcelona, peaks of Montseny. Bits of the GR5. Drinks at ice basins and storage pits (functional till 1934) and\/or station bar.<\/p>\n<p><small>We can lunch half-way at a good farm restaurant and there's also the option of a visit to a museum of pre-industrial farm life; both require reservation.
