The baldie is fled, long live the baldie!

The business (basically a CRM database) passed into better hands in 2012. These materials remain here for cannibalisation and amusement.

The baldie meanwhile has found pastures new: as a singing organ-grinder for your event in the UK, France, Belgium, the Netherlands or Spain!

Barcelona tours - Coastal massif north of Barcelona, monastery, beach village

Walk in natural park along the granite etc Serralada de Marina coastal range just north of Barcelona. Sporadically improved early C20th town centre. Gipsies and wild people (seasonal). Mental hospital, ruined chapels, C14th-16th monastery (1/2/3/4/5/6 visits bookable). Classic Mediterranean flora: lots of pine (umbrella, stone), chunks of Quercus ilex, standard array of flowers, cacti. (Optional: hidden spring with mutton-mad pussy (blog); scrabble up hill to escape hippies.) Historically interesting triangulation point. Excellent views over Sant Adrià (1/2/3; blog), Montcada cement factory & Collserola, Barcelona/Montjuic, Montseny. C18th-19th hamlet with good cemetery (1/2/3) and farms. Optional drinks in (and stroll around) rather nice village centre; optional museum visit (ask!). Modernist villas supersede farms and make way in turn for spraycan 70s. Ruined fort (blame the French and the railway company). Bars/beach/chimney.

Roughly how much will it cost?

  1. Fill in your details and submit the form below.
  2. If you just want more info, we'll send you that.
  3. Otherwise we'll send you full information, a fixed price, and details of how to pay securely. (If you pay via Paypal or Google Checkout, we'll quote and bill you in British pounds. This marginally reduces our admin costs and, barring a sudden collapse of your currency, doesn't hurt you.)
  4. If after you have paid you change your mind about the day or the walk, or if the weather is really bad, then we'll try out best to offer you another option. Our cancellation and refund policy is here.
