I used to write barrel organ arrangements and have always wanted to ride off into the sunset on a bicycle with a barrel organ mounted before or behind. There's nothing suitable on the market, so this blog is to help me find my way through the self-build process.

Basic concept: bike-powered (inc some dynamo/solar/battery arrangement for no-hands use) and -transported, musical works to be MIDI-controlled from micropc, modular approach to allow addition of mechanical puppets, digital effects and such to basic pipework. May start with simple organ and add stuff to it.
