I used to write barrel organ arrangements and have always wanted to ride off into the sunset on a tricycle with a barrel organ mounted before or behind. Since nothing on the market provides what I'm after, homebuild is the future, and this blog will track inspiration as I find it. Basic concept: bike-powered (inc some battery arrangement for no-hands use) and -transported, musical works to be MIDI-controlled from hard disk, modular approach to allow addition of mechanical puppets, digital effects and such to basic pipework. May start with simple organ and add stuff to it.
