The Academy of Fine Letters distributed the prizes offered in the contest announced on February 20, thus reëstablishing the floral games. The prize for a report concerning the Caspe/Casp parliament was won by Braulio Foz from Zaragoza. The poetry first prize went to the Barcelonan Joaquin Rubió who troubadoured in Catalan the expedition of the Catalans and Aragonese to Greece; the second prize to Calixto Fernandez of Camprodón, and the third to the Mallorcan, Thomas Aguiló. Rubió’s prize was a black velvet cap with a golden violet; Fernandez’, a cap with a silver violet, and Aguiló’s, membership.
