From Paris, that the duke of Orleans having forced the earl of Gallway to repasse the mountains, had with 25,000 men invested
Lerida, which place is well provided, and has a garison of 4000 men; that the duke of Noailles was to make a diversion towards Girone to favour that seige; and that the forces which embarkt on board part of the confederate fleet at Toulon were landed at Barcelona.
