I share Lenox's alarm at the approaching extinction in Spain of the prickly pear, without which other great Spanish customs like the Mexican sombrero and the neo-spaghetti Western will also be weakened. Since Rajoy has clearly abandoned all hope of finishing off the reds, here's a list of possible solutions we may choose to employ:
