Spanish Christmas Lottery rips off Google logo

Trebots @ Monday November 16th 2009 10:52

Google translates the “I’m feeling lucky” button into Spanish as “Voy a tener suerte”, which is closer to “It’s my lucky day.” So, easy meat for ventura24.es, which wants to associate a brand for losers with one where you really do win (almost) every time you play. Google may be an addiction, but it isn’t a lottery, which, apart from pension schemes, is simply too exciting an activity for me. We may hear more of this one, but probably not here. (Seen on elmundo.es, which is never too clear about whether its principal allegiance is to global capitalism or to the Spanish mob aka the Nation, but which needs those revenues this Christmas.)
