Magic oranges from Spain

Ah! “Oranges, golden oranges of Spain, the daughters of the sun!” on a promo disc intermediated by David Noades.

The campaign was, according to this auction site, actually late 1960s and featured some revolting children and serving suggestions on the inside cover and some rather alarming dwarves on the outside:

… but here anyway is Arturo Barea, Forja de un rebelde (1951):

No había posibilidad de dormir aquella noche en Le Perthus, porque los choferes de los camiones que traían naranjas de España habían ocupado hasta el último rincón posible. Ahora sentía no haber cogido una de aquellas naranjas; estábamos sedientos y hambrientos… Después de unos minutos de llamar a una puerta y helarnos en su umbral, nos abrió un hombre gordo, adormilado, vestido con unos pantalones desabrochados y una camiseta sin mangas. Sí, nos llevaría a Perpignan, pero primero echaríamos un trago. Sacó una botella de vino tinto y tres vasos: ‘¡Por la República Española!’ -brindó.
