Boat trip to Spain getting cheaper for Senegalese

Now it is possible to buy a passage for £350. It must be the only thing in Senegal which has gone down in price. A loaf of bread has gone up by a third since I last bought one.” It would be interesting to know why.

Umm, Trevor. It’s because there isn’t any work. The under-the-table construction jobs previously manned by kayakers are now occupied by ‘unemployed’ locals. We’re working on the economics of the arrangement.
