A tiny one, illustrated by the comical pre-Wende habit of teaching kids the Marseillaise &lt;a href="http://hu.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francia_himnusz" rel="nofollow"&gt;in Hungarian.&lt;/a&gt; I’m not sure I’ve ever met someone of French nationality who knew it off—certainly all those I’ve asked managed about the first three lines, no more—but my flatmate Jóska, from Budapest, knows the whole thing.</description>
