Harsh sentences in drag-queen blowjob case

The judge accepted the truly terrible story of the young man involved: that he’d been tempted out the disco by a (female) gogo dancer who, to his understandable disappointment, delivered him into the clutches of three drag-queens, also hired by the disco. The four then took him into the bathroom, handcuffed him, and gave him a blowjob. Twelve years each, said the judge, which seems a lot when it’s normal for prosecutors to call for much less for male-on-female rapists. Sounds like double standards to me…
