Just as it is difficult to understand how politicians can be so negligent or corrupt as to dig tunnels into which their voters’ flats then tumble, so it is hard to accept that Barcelona’s water utility can get away with building extravagant towers when their product is still undrinkable. I woke up last night and, the bottled being up, swigged a litre from the tap, and I now feel like I’ve got cholera. Even the cat won’t touch it.

   Sounds fair enough to me. I’m pretty healthy, so I guess that could have killed someone in worse shape.
