Americans should, it is suggested, listen to the citizens of states traditionally resentful of the success of the American revolution and vote for a candidate said citizens probably believe would weaken the US.
It’s difficult to believe that campaigning of this kind will help Kerry at all with the American electorate, so I can only assume that the Guardian–like Kaleboel and all progressive social democrats–is hoping that Bush will still be around in a couple of months to continue bombing the crap out of evil dictators and building democratic society in the aftermath, and the hell with majority opinion in Canada and France.
