Movable Type to WordPress

There’s a guide here. Looks pretty clunky to me and dynamic generation of pages just shunts the MT rebuild issue down the row. Textpattern looks interesting in a hippy kind of way, but I may have to start sending postcards again…

Existing MT users might find this blog interesting as a source of reference:

“Learning Movable Type | Tips and tricks and helpful things I’ve learned while using the Movable Type web publishing system”

I was thinking of moving over to MT myself, but Six Apart (makers of MT) have recently moved the pricing goalposts somewhat – and have enraged many of their users in the process.

I wonder when Microsoft will get in on the act and produce something themselves.
