Trip down memory lane, from the town of the Jews to the Muslim refuges (with more recent defences). C3rd BC dolmens, olive groves, church, monastery, mini-castle/watchtower (1, 2, 3) built by mad Jaume, bit of the GR11, spectacular views of the Mediterranean and back over the plains towards Figueres and the Pyrenees (1, 2), swimming (seasonal). More foggy photos in the blog. Combines well with a day-before/after trip to the the Dalí museum in Figueres, walking in France, and/or birdwatching (spring/autumn) on the Cap de Creus. Ask me if you want more info. |

Hitting go! on this form sends me email telling what you're interested in. I'll then send you more information and a price, generally €30 per person + €20 fixed. There are ample discounts for large families or individuals with potential for generating interesting conversations with lazy old men along the way--star soccer players, pigeon fanciers and women in search of a haircut spring to mind. Minimum prices apply. Even cheaper walks here.
