| Walk that connects two small late medieval valley towns, passing via some spectacular cliffs with great views. Hill farms and fields (1/2/3), C12th romanesque chapel (1/2), transition from deciduous forests in ravines to evergreens (pines, Holm oak) on more open land to scrub at summit, limestone cliffs (1/2), views (Tagamanent/Matagalls 1-2/Valley of Picamena), scramble up cliffs to even better views (towards Barcelona), staggering ravine (not suitable for those with bad vertigo) with cool waterfall. |
Bibliography included Josep Nuet i Badia and the relevant maps.
Hitting go! on this form sends me email telling what you're interested in. I'll then send you more information and a price, generally €30 per person + €20 fixed. There are ample discounts for large families or individuals with potential for generating interesting conversations with lazy old men along the way--star soccer players, pigeon fanciers and women in search of a haircut spring to mind. Minimum prices apply. Even cheaper walks here.
